Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about domain status, monitoring, acquisitions, billing, account security, and support on DeletedBusiness.
Getting Started
Understand what DeletedBusiness does, what you can research, and when an account is required.
What is DeletedBusiness?+
DeletedBusiness helps you discover domain opportunities, understand their current lifecycle status, monitor important changes, and make informed acquisition decisions without presenting estimates as guaranteed outcomes.
Who is DeletedBusiness for?+
DeletedBusiness is designed for domain investors, founders, agencies, brand teams, researchers, and buyers who need a clearer view of domain lifecycle evidence before deciding whether to monitor, investigate, or pursue a domain.
Do I need an account to use DeletedBusiness?+
You can browse the newest public opportunity preview, pricing, methodology, and help pages without an account. A free account is required to search the complete domain inventory, use filters and pagination, run live domain checks, save monitoring, and access your private workspace.
What kinds of domains can I research?+
Coverage varies by domain extension and by the current information available for that domain. When DeletedBusiness cannot confirm a useful status, it shows the result as unavailable or uncertain instead of treating missing information as proof that the domain can be registered.
Does DeletedBusiness guarantee that a domain is available?+
No. Domain availability can change at any moment. DeletedBusiness distinguishes lifecycle opportunities from current availability and requires a fresh availability check before showing a domain as available to register.
Domain Data & Statuses
Understand common domain lifecycle states, timing, and current availability.
What does Expiring Soon mean?+
Expiring Soon means current information indicates an approaching expiration or lifecycle transition. It does not mean the domain will become available on that exact date because renewal and recovery periods can change the outcome.
What does Pending Delete mean?+
Pending Delete is a late lifecycle stage indicating that release is approaching. Exact timing can still vary, so DeletedBusiness does not present a projected release time as a guarantee.
What does Available Now mean?+
Available Now is intended to represent a domain that has received current availability confirmation in the relevant workflow. Because registrations can occur at any moment, availability should still be rechecked immediately before any purchase attempt.
What are Grace Period and Redemption states?+
Grace and Redemption are post-expiration stages during which the previous owner may still have renewal or recovery rights. A domain in either stage should not be assumed to be available for a new registration.
Why can a domain status change after I viewed it?+
Domain information is time-sensitive. A name can be renewed, released, registered by someone else, or receive newer status information after you viewed it. DeletedBusiness shows the latest observation so important changes are visible rather than hidden.
Why can another domain service show something different from DeletedBusiness?+
Different services can observe a domain at different times. For any time-sensitive decision, run a fresh availability check immediately before you act and treat the newest confirmed result as the current status.
How often is domain information updated?+
Update frequency depends on how close a domain is to an important lifecycle change. Stable domains can be checked less often, while time-sensitive opportunities can be checked more frequently. The interface shows when relevant information was observed or verified.
How does DeletedBusiness determine domain status?+
DeletedBusiness uses approved, attributable domain information and keeps discovery signals separate from current availability confirmation. The public interface focuses on the resulting status, observation time, and confidence rather than exposing internal collection mechanics.
Watchlist & Monitoring
Save domains, follow evidence changes, and understand what monitoring does and does not do.
How does the watchlist work?+
Your watchlist keeps selected domains associated with your account so you can return to them without repeating discovery work. Saved domains can be reviewed alongside their latest stored lifecycle evidence and monitoring state.
How often are watched domains checked?+
Check frequency depends on how time-sensitive the domain is. A domain close to an important transition can be checked more frequently than one in a stable state, helping keep monitoring useful without unnecessary repeated checks.
Will I be alerted when a monitored domain changes?+
DeletedBusiness can retain and surface monitoring changes, and notification delivery depends on the account and notification settings available to your plan and workflow. You should still verify the latest state before making a time-sensitive acquisition decision.
Can I stop watching a domain?+
Yes. You can remove a domain from your active watchlist when you no longer want it in your saved monitoring workspace. Removing it from your watchlist does not rewrite historical evidence already retained by the platform.
Acquisition
Understand monitoring, explicit acquisition actions, confirmations, and safe failure behavior.
What is Acquisition Monitoring?+
Acquisition Monitoring follows a domain more closely when you have a genuine purchase interest. It is designed to watch relevant lifecycle and availability signals and prepare the workflow for action while preserving verification boundaries.
What is Acquisition Lock?+
Acquisition Lock is a controlled acquisition feature used only when that workflow is enabled for the account and domain. Ordinary monitoring does not purchase a domain. Any acquisition action remains separate and must pass the applicable account, payment, availability, and safety checks before it can proceed.
Does ordinary monitoring automatically buy domains for me?+
No. Monitoring by itself does not silently submit a domain purchase. Any workflow that can proceed toward a purchase requires an explicit acquisition action and the applicable confirmation and account controls.
What happens before an acquisition attempt is submitted?+
Before an acquisition action is submitted, DeletedBusiness uses a fresh availability result and applies the required account, payment, plan, and safety checks. An earlier lifecycle observation by itself is never treated as sufficient purchase confirmation.
Does paying for an acquisition workflow guarantee I will get the domain?+
No. Another party can register the domain first, pricing can change, or a transaction can be rejected or delayed. DeletedBusiness can improve timing, information, and workflow control, but it cannot guarantee that a third-party domain purchase will succeed.
Broker Assistance
Know when a broker-assisted path may be useful and what it can realistically achieve.
When should I use Broker Assistance?+
Broker Assistance can be useful when a domain is already registered, requires owner outreach, needs negotiation, or does not fit a normal registration workflow. It is a different path from monitoring a domain that may later become available.
Does broker assistance guarantee a successful purchase?+
No. The current owner may decline to sell, may not respond, may ask for a different price, or may change their position. Broker assistance can structure outreach and negotiation, but the owner controls whether a transfer agreement is reached.
What happens after I request broker assistance?+
The request can be reviewed to determine whether the domain, contact path, and acquisition objective are suitable for assisted handling. Any material commercial terms or next steps should be made clear before you are committed to them.
Account & Security
Manage sign-in, recovery, account sessions, and access using the security options available to your account.
How can I sign in to DeletedBusiness?+
DeletedBusiness supports secure account authentication and can offer configured methods such as password-based sign-in and supported social identity providers. The exact methods shown on the sign-in screen depend on the authentication options enabled for the service.
What account security options are available?+
Use the security options shown in your account. Sign-in verification, password recovery, session controls, and other account protections are shown only when they are available for your current account configuration. DeletedBusiness does not promise an authenticator method unless it is enabled in production.
Where do I manage account and security settings?+
After signing in, use your account and Settings areas to manage the options exposed for your account, including profile, security, session, and notification-related controls where available.
How do I request account closure or help with account access?+
If the required option is not available directly in your account settings, contact DeletedBusiness Support from your signed-in Support Center or email support@deletedbusiness.com. Do not send passwords or authentication codes in a support message.
Plans, Billing & Refunds
Find current plan information, understand subscription changes, and get billing help.
What plans are available?+
Current plans, included limits, and prices are shown on the Pricing page. Use that page as the source of truth because plan names, limits, and commercial terms can change as the platform evolves.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?+
Where subscription management is available, plan changes are handled through your account billing workflow. The effective date, entitlements, and any billing adjustment depend on the change being made and the current subscription terms shown during that process.
How do subscription renewals work?+
Recurring subscriptions renew according to the billing interval and terms displayed when you subscribe. Review your current plan and billing information before renewal if you need to change or cancel the service.
What should I do if I have a billing problem?+
Use the Billing topic in your signed-in Support Center or email support@deletedbusiness.com. Include enough information to identify the account and transaction, but never send full card numbers, passwords, or authentication codes.
How do I request a refund?+
Submit the request through the Support Center using the Refund question topic or email support@deletedbusiness.com. Refund eligibility is reviewed under the applicable refund policy and transaction circumstances; submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval.
Support
Choose the right help channel and understand how conversations become formal support cases.
How do I contact DeletedBusiness Support?+
Use the 24/7 Help chat for immediate guidance, email support@deletedbusiness.com, or sign in to the Support Center to send an account-linked support message and keep the conversation in your support history.
Is live chat available 24/7?+
The Help chat can be available 24/7 for immediate automated assistance. If your issue requires a human, the conversation can be handed into the support workflow for staff follow-up rather than pretending an automated answer resolved the issue.
How do I ask for a human support agent?+
Tell the Help chat that you want a human agent, or send a message from your signed-in Support Center. The support workflow can place the conversation into the human-support queue when assistance or escalation is needed.
What is the difference between a support conversation and a formal ticket?+
A support conversation is the normal starting point for help. If the issue needs formal case handling, investigation, billing review, or another structured process, a support agent can create a formal ticket from that conversation so the case has one linked history instead of duplicate tickets.
Where can I see my previous support messages and tickets?+
Sign in and open the Support Center. Your account support area lists support conversations, replies, and formal tickets created for your account so you can continue the correct thread instead of starting over.
